The assessment plan for this unit will afford the students (you) and the instructor (me) the ability to verify content understanding. This plan will provide the assignments for evaluation of your understanding of the learning objectives. The assessment is divided in to three categories: Entry Level, Formative, and Summative. Entry Level will evaluate your prior knowledge coming into the lesson. The Formative assessment will evaluate your comprehension throughout the unit. Summative will provide an overall evalution of your ability to grasp the unit objectives and themes. These categories are mapped out below.

ProjectThis assignment will ask you to explain how the federal law making process works. Additionally, you will be asked to comment on the Judicial branches potential role in the process. I am very flexible about how this project is completed if you do not see an option that is appealing to you please feel free to discuss an alternative.

ExaminationThis exam will evaluate your comprehension of Articles I, II & III of the United States Constitution in relation to the creation and structure of the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branches of government.
